Youth Alpha

Is a practical introduction to the Christian faith, aimed especially at those who aren't regular churchgoers
 The Youth Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening way over ten thought-provoking sessions.
It's low key, friendly and fun. You get to ask any questions you want and chat through the issues in a place where your views are respected.
You're not on your own either. More than 8 million people around the world have done the Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, youth groups, universities and prisons.
 The good news that it’s FREE! although you may be asked to make a small donation for the food and weekend or day away. But if you are totally strapped for cash, we don’t want that to put you off - just come along anyway.

This year Ignite! has got a lot of events planned to help in the fulfilling of our goal to reach out, serve, worship, grow and connect with God, each other and the community.
Below are some of the events to look out for.

Encounter:

Encounter is a Worship service organised by the young people of New Life Church for people of all ages. This service will take place in the main auditorium of the New Life Church every last sunday of the Month at 6.30pm.

Soul survivor
As a result of the success of our first trip to SoulSurvivor last year, Ignite! is taking the youths of New Life Church to Soul Survivor again this August.
Soul Survivor is 5-day event where together young people from all over the UK and the World get to journey with God, worship Him, learn more about Him, encounter Him and be changed in the process.
We’ll be spending time praising God, listening to His word and praying for each other in main meetings. Plus we‘ll have the chance to get the low down on all manner of topics and issues in the massive array of teaching sessions.  On top of that there’s the hanging out drinking hot chocolate in makeshift cafes or checking out live gigs.

Lugazi ‘09

Lugazi ‘09 is an event organised for the 20’s group of Ignite! in collaboration with the Hope for Lugazi charity. We are helping by raising funds to help sponsor some of these young people through Hope for Lugazi. We hope this experience will allow both sides (Ignite! and the young people of Lugasi) to learn from each other and also help us build a lasting relationship through the Hope for Lugazi charity.
